Nicholas Pooran has been named junior Gayle and he made sure that he lived upto that reputation. He was the highest run-getter for the Caribbean team with 367 runs and scored his first ODI century against Sri Lanka. Veteran Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi made his country proud in their second World Cup showing. He made 107 runs and picked 10 wickets for them in 9 matches and his half-century against India almost took the team to an upset win over the former World Champions.
