Shakib-Al-Hasan was the star of the ICC World Cup 2019 with 606 runs and 11 wickets to his name. He scored two centuries and also five half-centuries in 8 innings and also picked a five-wicket haul in the tournament as well. Shakib was the lynchpin of the Bangla batting and had he gotten some more support from other bowlers in his team, Bangladesh may have done something else.

Sri Lanka- Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga made sure that his last World Cup counted for something. Though Sri Lanka failed to have any real impact on the tournament, Malinga shined a lot and his biggest achievement was helping his team stun hosts England. He picked 13 wickets in the tournament with the best bowling of 4/43.
