124 v Australia, 2009
This was the second ODI of the seven-match series between India and Australia and was played at Nagpur in 2009. India batted first and Sehwag (40) and Gambhir (76) gave the team a good start. But they needed a firm finish and that’s what MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina (62) gave them.

Dhoni was in top form and even got riled up after a collision with Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson. This resulted in Dhoni’s bludgeoning 124 in 107 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes, becoming the first Indian captain to score an ODI century against Australia.
India made 354/7 and kept Australia to 255, winning the match by 99 runs.
