MS Dhoni’s magical 183* remains the second-highest score by a batsman in a chase in ODI cricket. The match was played against Sri Lanka at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Kumar Sangakkara’s 138 and Jayawardene’s 71 led Sri Lanka to 298/4 in 50 overs batting first.

India lost Tendulkar for 2 and Sehwag for 39, but Dhoni kept smacking the Lankan bowlers everywhere in the Jaipur stadium. He got support from Dravid (28) and single-handedly took the Indian team to the victory making 183* in 145 balls, batting at no.3 with 15 fours and 10 sixes.
India won by 6 wickets and four overs to spare.
