RAVI BISHNOI

Many IPL fans were scratching their heads as Punjab Kings decided to bench Ravi Bishnoi for the most part of the second half of the IPL 2021. Bishnoi, the Rajasthan leggie had impressed mightily in IPL 2020 which was played in the UAE as well with 12 wickets in 14 matches at an economy of 7.37.

He made an immediate impact when called upon to bowl as he ended with 12 wickets in just 9 matches in IPL 2021. His best figures were 3/24 and the economy improved as well to 6.34. Bishnoi is also a gun fielder and took some amazing catches in both his IPL appearances.

India has been experimenting with leg-spinners with Rahul Chahar getting a chance in the T20 World Cup 2021, Bishnoi may also get a chance to don the India jersey in near future given his skills and aggression in bowling.
