Last time Team COC had presented a current World Test XI comprised of the best of the left-handed players in the world at the moment. It consisted of the who’s who of the current world of red-ball cricket.
While the left-handers are more attractive to look at, right-handed batsmen have ruled the roost since the beginning of Test cricket. Charles Bannerman, who scored the very first century in Test cricket, in the very first Test match between Australia and England, was a right-hander.
Two of the batsmen considered to be all-time greats, Sir Don Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar, along with the likes of Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis, Javed Miandad, Ricky Ponting, Greg Chappell, and many more were right-handed players.
COC presents current world Test XI of left-handed players
Even right-handed bowlers like Imran Khan, Michael Holding, Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis, and Glenn McGrath, spinners like B Chandrasekhar, Clarrie Grimmett, E Prasanna, Lance Gibbs, Anil Kumble, Shane Warne, and many more were right-handed and ruled the cricket world during their eras.
Keeping the dominance of right-handers in Test cricket in mind, TEAM COC presents a current World Test XI comprised of the best right-handed batsmen and bowlers today.
The openers for the all-time right-handed World XI will be India’s Rohit Sharma and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.
Rohit Sharma is a white-ball genius, but slowly and surely has grasped the Test cricket as well, ever since he was asked to open the innings.
In 38 Tests, he has 2615 runs with 7 centuries and 12 fifties with an average of 46.69. In his first series as an opener, Rohit slammed a double-ton and hit a century in each innings of a Test against South Africa at home.
Kane Williamson is an absolute genius with the bat and had a great start to his Test career, scoring a century against India in 2010. Since then, he has ruled the batting charts. In 83 Tests, he has 7115 runs with 24 centuries with a best of 251 at an average of 54.31. A true team man, and great at adapting, Williamson will open the innings in this World XI.

The rest of the modern-day fab four Steve Smith, Virat Kohli, and Joe Root will complete the middle order of this current right-handers world XI.
Steve Smith, in 77 Tests, made 7540 runs at an average of 61.80 with 27 centuries and a best of 239. In 91 Tests, Virat Kohli has made 7490 runs with 27 centuries and a best of 254* at an average of 52.37 and he will also captain this world XI, given that he has led India amazingly well, who is the current no.1 ranked Test team and have been for the last 5 years.
Joe Root is the only batsman from the fab four to play over 100 Tests and has 8617 runs in 103 Tests. He has an average of 49.24 with 20 centuries and is the only man to hit a double-ton in his 100th Test.
Marnus Labuschagne and Mohammad Rizwan will make up the remainder of the batting lineup of this world XI of right-handers. Marnus has had a good start to his Test career, making 1885 runs in 18 Tests with 5 centuries to his name at an average of 60.80 with a best of 215.
Mohammad Rizwan has changed the look of the Pakistan team since his arrival in Test cricket with his adventurous, yet responsible batting. In 15 Tests, he has 890 runs with a best of 115* at an average of 43.15. His wicketkeeping is top-notch as well and dependable.
R Ashwin will be the only spinner in this team with Labuschagne for support. Ashwin is a modern-day and possibly an all-time great with 409 Test wickets in 78 Test matches with a best of 7/59 with 30 five-wicket hauls and 7 ten-wicket hauls.
The fast bowling contingent of this world right-handers XI will have James Anderson, Pat Cummins, and Jasprit Bumrah.
James Anderson is a legend in the fast bowling world with 614 wickets in 160 Tests with a best of 7/42 at an average of 26.46. He has picked wickets everywhere in the world.

Pat Cummins has ruled the world of Test cricket since his return to the game after his back surgery in the 2016-17 season and has 164 wickets in just 34 Test matches with a best of 6/23 at an average of 21.59.
If James Anderson is a legend of the past, and Pat Cummins is a great of the present, Jasprit Bumrah is a legend of the upcoming future. In the short time he has been playing Test cricket he has impressed one and all with his bowling ability.

He has 83 wickets in 19 Tests with a best of 6/27. He also has a hat-trick to his name, being only the third Indian to achieve the feat. His unique action has experts concerned about his longevity in the Test format, but so far, Bumrah has done nothing but impress with his ability to learn quickly and apply the same in the middle.
This World XI of right-handers will give a huge competition to the previously chosen left-handed World XI and the clash between the two will be a mouth-watering one.
