KULDEEP YADAV - 7/10
Kuldeep Yadav will remember the series as he became the second Indian bowler to pick five-wicket hauls in all the three formats, after his career-best 5/57 in the first Test. A total of 10 wickets in two Tests was enough evidence that he can bamboozle any batsmen on any surface.
MOHAMMAD SHAMI- 4/10
Mohammad Shami got to play just one Test in the series, picking two wickets. He was rested in the second Test match since he had played in the full five Tests of the England series without breaking down. This bodes well for the Indian team as Shami’s fitness is important for the upcoming Australia tour.
SHARDUL THAKUR- 0/10
Shardul Thakur waited two years for his Test debut and got to bowl just 10 balls, before limping out with a groin injury. This also puts a question mark over the selectors over assessing the fitness of Shardul, as he had previously hurt himself in the Asia Cup previously and was undergoing rehab.
