RISHABH PANT-9/10
Rishabh Pant kept well on turning Indian pitches to three of the best Indian spinners. However, what was the game changer for India was his batting down the order, as he smoked 92 each in the two Tests at an astonishing strike rate of 84.40. He has done well for Ravi Shastri to even point out that Pant may have confirmed his place for the Australia tour.
AJINKYA RAHANE-7/10
Ajinkya Rahane got some runs (121) under his belt with the best score of 80 and will do him a lot of good after a dismal England tour. Rahane was good in the field as well and will be a key component as India looks towards the Australia tour.
CHETESHWAR PUJARA-5/10
Cheteshwar Pujara scored 86 in the first Test at Rajkot but failed to score runs in the second Test. Even his mode of dismissals in the two Tests pointed out to a weakness of prodding and probing outside off stump.
