CWC 2019: Complete squads of all participating teams in ICC World Cup 2019

The ICC World Cup 2019 begins on May 30 in England and Wales.

ENGLAND
Morgan captains England for the second time in World Cup
The hosts England have announced a preliminary 15-member squad which doesn’t see the names of its two best-limited overs players in Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan. Both of these players are named in the 17-member team to face Pakistan in the five-ODI series coming May and the final England squad will be named after this series, which concludes on May 19.

Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Liam Plunkett, David Willey, and Tom Curran lead the bowling unit with Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid as the spinners. Bairstow, Roy, Hales, Buttler, Morgan are the batting powerhouses in the squad.

SRI LANKA
Dimuth Karunaratne is a surprise choice for SL captainSri Lanka’s squad was a bit of surprising one as they named Dimuth Karunaratne as their captain, despite him not playing a single ODI since the last World Cup in 2015. Lasith Malinga was included in the team, but likes of Dinesh Chandimal was omitted, with Jeevan Mendis being a surprise inclusion.  Angelo Mathews refused the captaincy but makes it as a batsman.
