The ICC World Cup 2019 will be played in England and Wales from May 30 to July 14. The tournament opener will see hosts England taking on semi-finalists of 2015 edition South Africa. India, on the other hand, will also begin their journey against South Africa from June 5.
The format of the 2019 edition of the World Cup will revert back to the 1992 edition and matches will be played on a round-robin based with all the participating teams taking on one another once each. This gives the teams who might have a bad start to the tournament to make a comeback in later stages.
