This season, the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) has had its fair share of viral moments, but none have been as spectacular as this one. Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi was given a bespoke 24-carat gold-plated iPhone 16 Pro, which made headlines and sparked envy among his colleagues.

This expensive gesture comes just after the Karachi Kings made news for their unusual prizes, which included giving England's James Vince a hairdryer and Hasan Ali a beard trimmer for outstanding performances.

Lahore Qalandars posted a slick unboxing video on their official social media accounts, and it has now gone viral.

“The iPhone has landed. Our Captain Qalandar receives a gift he’s worthy of. A custom 24K Gold-plated iPhone 16 Pro, made just for Lahore Qalandars’ main man, Shaheen!” they posted on X.

The video captures Afridi receiving the luxurious gift with a surprised smile.

He can be heard saying: “Ye heavy hai (This is heavy)” as he walks off the field holding the phone. His teammates, particularly fast bowler Haris Rauf, couldn't hide their playful jealousy. Rauf quipped, “No brother, this is unfair,” drawing laughs and further fan attention to the viral moment.
