Navdeep Saini

Delhi’s Navdeep Saini was recently picked in the Indian Test squad for the one-off Test against Afghanistan. This selection was seen as the mark of selectors acknowledging his work in the Indian domestic cricket for Delhi.

In 35 FC matches, Saini has 105 wickets with a best of 6/32. He has also been part of Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore squads in Indian Premier League, gaining vital knowledge from international cricketers and coaches.  

Saini has shown penchant of getting something out of the flat Indian pitches and making the batsmen uncomfortable with pace and bounce. He was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, with 34 dismissals in eight matches.

He along with Gurbani is one of the most talked about talents in Indian fast bowling that will sooner or later make their mark in international cricket for India.
