India opener Rohit Sharma's picture from the ICC World Test Championship final (WTC) Day 2 is going viral on social media. He can be seen having a close look at the match with binoculars from the pavilion.

Rohit had opened the innings with Shubman Gill and he got out on 34 runs after facing 68 deliveries. His wife Ritika shared the pictures on the Instagram story and jokingly asked if he was trying to spy on them?

India's captain Virat Kohli was batting with his deputy Ajinkya Rahane when Rohit was spotted with the binoculars. "Trying to watch the game or spy on us," wrote Ritika while posting the picture.

The first day of the WTC final was washed out due to rain and the last session of the second day was affected by bad light. Only 64.4 overs of play was possible on Day 2 and India scored 146/3 after being put in to bat by New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.

The Indian openers stitched up a partnership of 62 runs for the first wicket before Rohit got dismissed by Kyle Jamieson. His partner Gill was soon sent back by Neil Wagner after scoring 28 runs. From 62/0, India were soon 3 down on 88 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara falling on a score of 8 runs.

Kohli and Rahane added 58* runs before stumps on Day 2. The skipper was batting on 44*, while the vice-captain added unbeaten 29 runs.
