Mumbai Indians (MI) registered their fourth win of the tournament after defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 4 wickets on Saturday (May 1). Kieron Pollard was the man who took it away from CSK despite them posting 218/4 on the board.

MI chased down the target on the last delivery of their innings and it was Pollard who took it upon himself to finish it off for his side. Pollard smashed the fastest half-century of the ongoing IPL 2021 off just 17 balls.

Pollard's teammates lauded his knock on Twitter after the match. While Suryakumar Yadav called it a 'mega effort' from Pollard, Hardik Pandya called him a superstar and legend.

Hardik Pandya tweeted, "Polly, you’re one of a kind Goat Inspirational, superstar, legend. Proud of you brother @KieronPollard55". 

Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar and MI captain Rohit Sharma also praised the extraordinary effort from Pollard, who has been doing it too often for Mumbai over the years. 

"Polly, no words, speechless for what you did out there. An innings to remember. This will go down in the history books. @KieronPollard55," Krunal Pandya posted.

Rohit tweeted, "Incredible effort by the team to pull that off. All hail the big man from Trini @mipaltan @KieronPollard55 ????".
