Both teams are at the top of their game and it will an interesting match to watch. Therefore, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Playing XI for the DC v RCB match in Ahmedabad.

DELHI CAPITALS (DC)

Rishabh Pant has led the Delhi Capitals brilliantly thus far, receiving help from senior players like Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, and Steve Smith along the way. DC has been on the top thanks to their opening pair of Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw, with Smith playing the anchor’s role.

Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis, and Akshar Patel might be tasked with the power-hitting duties at the business end of the innings. However, DC will need to make a forced change as R Ashwin is no longer available for them and this means Lalit Yadav might slot in the middle order.

Delhi Capitals | IPL-BCCIThey do have spin bowling options in Patel and Amit Mishra, who bowled excellently well so far. With the game being played in Ahmedabad, dew is a major factor and this might lead to DC choosing to go with pacers with Kagiso Rabada and Avesh Khan being joined by Anrich Nortje, who might replace Shimron Hetmyer.

Rabada and Avesh are in top form with the ball and Nortje will just add to the pace quotient of the DC bowling attack, giving the RCB batting lineup some headache.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB)

RCB had no answer to Ravindra Jadeja’s all-around brilliance to their 69-run loss to CSK in Mumbai in their last game. However, Virat Kohli and co. will look forward to moving forward and prepare for the DC juggernaut.

Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal have been great at the top of the batting order, with Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers providing the fireworks in the middle and death overs. However, they still have problems with their playing XI as Washington Sundar is asked to bat at no.3 to bring in the balance.

Royal Challengers Bangalore | IPL-BCCIAlso, Dan Christian may not be given another chance as RCB could opt for Finn Allen, who can keep wickets and bat at no.3 as well. Kyle Jamieson showed some muscle in the second last game with the bat and could be used as a finisher.

RCB has enough bowling firepower with Navdeep Saini coming in to assist Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel in the fast bowling department, with Jamieson also in the fray. Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar will be crucial despite the dew factor in Ahmedabad.

This will be an amazing match to see as both the teams are loaded with performers that make IPL 2021 such an important and attractive tournament to watch.
