Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Sheldon Jackson has donated to Gautam Gambhir Foundation (GGF) to fight against COVID-19. GGF is helping the needy people in the pandemic.
Jackson posted a tweet with his statement attached and he tagged GGF with a folded hands emoji. "In these difficult times for our beloved country, my heart goes out to everyone who is suffering," he wrote.
"I pray that the good times return sooner rather than later. I request you all to please follow the SOPs as directed by the authorities, please stay home as much as possible and wear your masks at all times when you step outside.

"I have made a humble contribution towards the Gautam Gambhir Foundation (GGF) who are doing an excellent job in helping as many people as possible.
"I urge you all to do the same and donate whatever amount you can do to your trusted fund or organization as every rupee counts in the fight against COVID-19. Please stay safe and stay healthy!", the statement read.
After Sheldon's gesture, Gambhir took to Twitter and acknowledged his support in this tough time. He said we are together in this hour of crisis.
"Thanks a lot @ShelJackson27 for your contribution to GGF in this hour of crisis. United we stand against this calamity. #InThisTogether @ggf_india," Gambhir's tweet read.
