After rain and wet outfield played spoilsport on Day 2 and 3 of the ongoing Kanpur Test between India and Bangladesh, fans got to witness the players in action on the fourth day.

Resuming their innings at 107/3, the visitors were soon reduced to 112/4 as Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Mushfiqur Rahim (11) with a beauty.

Bumrah’s fellow pacer Mohammed Siraj provided India with their fifth breakthrough as he dismissed Litton Das for 13, thanks to a sensational catch from Rohit Sharma at mid-off.

The Bangladesh wicketkeeper attempted to smash Siraj’s length delivery over the infield but didn’t get enough elevation. The ball was travelling before Rohit leaped one-handed and grabbed it over his head.

The Indian captain was delighted after completing the catch and he was swarmed by his teammates.

At the time of writing this article, Bangladesh were 175/6 as star spinner R Ashwin dismissed veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for just 9. Mominul Haque was batting on 76* with new man Mehidy Hasan Miraz at the crease.
