The Indian cricket team is struggling with injuries on the Australia tour and have numerous players ruled out already. They took the field in the fourth Test of the series without bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and experienced off-spinner R Ashwin.

At this stage, Team India would be praying to avoid injuries to the rest of the players. Pacer Navdeep Saini had to walk off the field on Day 1 of the final Test and vice-captain Rohit Sharma also survived an injury scare.

Prithvi Shaw was fielding for Saini and he nearly injured Rohit with his poorly directed throw before the Tea break. It was the second delivery of the 53rd over when Marnus Labuschagne flicked Washington Sundar towards square leg for a single.
