They had defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs in the first Test at Indore as well and now have 360 points from 7 matches in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship. ISHANT SHARMA- 10/10

Ishant Sharma proved that he was the leader of the pack with 12 wickets in the series with 9 of them coming in the second Test which was a day-night encounter in Kolkata. He became the first-ever Indian bowler to pick a five-wicket haul with the pink ball while playing second fiddle to Umesh and Shami in the first Test in Indore. Meanwhile, Ishant has proven that whatever changes he has brought to his bowling style, are paying rich dividends to him.

MAYANK AGARWAL- 9/10
Mayank Agarwal has continued his good form from the South Africa series against Bangladesh as well. He slammed his career-best 243 runs in the first Test at Indore, which included an Indian record of 8 sixes in an innings. Agarwal couldn’t do much in the second Test match, despite looking good against the pink ball. He has definitely cemented his spot as the opener in the Indian team for foreseeable future with his exploits with the bat.

UMESH YADAV- 9/10
Umesh Yadav showed why he is the preferred choice in Indian conditions. He was amazing against South Africa, where he had picked 11 wickets and was the Man of the Match in the Pune Test match. He continued that form against Bangladesh as well, picking a fifer in the Kolkata Test match and a total of eight wickets in the match. He ended up picking 12 wickets in the series as well.

VIRAT KOHLI- 8/10
Virat Kohli had a good series against South Africa where he scored his career-best 254* and carried that amazing form into the Bangladesh series as well. Though he failed in the first Test match, getting out for a rare duck in Indore; he made good in the Eden Gardens, where he become the first centurion from India in day-night Tests. His captaincy was top notch and with his fast bowlers doing the damage, he sat back and took full advantage of Bangladesh’s misfortunes.

MOHAMMAD SHAMI- 8/10
Mohammad Shami has come out as the man to go to for Virat Kohli in absence of Jasprit Bumrah. In the Indore Test match, Shami picked 7/58 and routed Bangladesh to help India win by an innings and 130 runs. Though he only managed two wickets in the Kolkata Test match, on his home ground on Eden Gardens, he provided vital support to Umesh and Ishant, while sending two of the Bangladeshi batsmen back by hitting them on the helmet.

AJINKYA RAHANE- 6/10
Ajinkya Rahane had a good series scoring two half-centuries in two Tests with the highest score being 86 in the Indore Test. He helped Mayank Agarwal get past his double century, while in Kolkata, he helped India stretch their total to an imposing one.

WRIDDHIMAN SAHA- 5/10
Wriddhiman Saha might have made just 29 runs in the series, but his wicketkeeping was amazing in both the Test matches. Especially in the day-night Test, he proved why he is called the best wicketkeeper in the world at the moment, as he dived and collected balls that moved after going past the stumps. The highlight of his amazing skills was the brilliant one-handed catch of Mahmudullah in the first innings of the Kolkata Test.

Ravindra Jadeja didn’t manage to pick any wicket in the two-Test matches but scored a brilliant 60* in the Indore Test match to help India stretch their innings.

ROHIT SHARMA- 3/10
After the high of the South Africa series, Rohit Sharma seemed a bit down on luck and managed just 27 runs in the two-Test matches. He will, however, be remembered for an amazing one-handed catch in Kolkata Test.
