On Thursday (21st November), the BCCI selection committee decided to ax Sanju Samson from the squad picked for series against West Indies. India is going to play the limited-overs bilateral series from 6th to 22nd December.

It was a surprise for the fans who expected Samson to be given a chance as he wasn't given a single opportunity in India's last T20I series against Bangladesh.

The 25-year-old has been doing well in domestic cricket which earned him a place on the national side. But he was not picked without being tested which seemed a bit unfair on the youngster.

After fans, Harbhajan Singh too expressed his disapproval over the decision made by the selection panel. He went on to tweet against them and even asked the newly appointed BCCI president Sourav Ganguly to change the selectors.

"I guess they r testing his heart #selectionpanelneedtobechanged need strong people there.. hope dada @SGanguly99 will do the needful," wrote Harbhajan, quoting the tweet of Shashi Tharoor.

Tharoor had posted a tweet about Samson's exclusion as well. "Very disappointed to see @IamSanjuSamson dropped without a chance. He carried the drinks for three T20Is & has been promptly discarded. Are they testing his batting or his heart?" his post read.
