Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne left every one at the MCG in splits as he tried to chase away the pigeons who were making themselves comfortable little behind the non-strikers crease. This incident happened on day one of the second Test against Pakistan.
Shan Masood won the toss and put Australia into bat first. Pakistan went with four pacers and two part-time spinners. Mir Hamza and Hassan Ali came into the XI, while Sajid Khan was ignored.
Openers David Warner (38) and Usman Khawaja (42) added 90 runs for the first wicket, while Aamir Jamal dismissed Steve Smith for 26 runs. Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head were at the crease at the time of writing this piece.
However, during the 48th over of the Australia innings, something extremely funny happened as Marnus Labuschagne was fed up with the pigeons on the ground and he ran towards them with his bat trying to shoo them away. Smith, on the other hand, was left in splits at the striker’s end.
Later even Hassan Ali, the Pakistan pacer tried to do the same thing, much to the humor of the crowd present in Melbourne ground.
