WATCH- Rohit Sharma visits Tirupati Balaji temple with Ritika and Samaira for blessings before Asia Cup and World Cup

Rohit Sharma will lead India in Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023.

Rohit with Ritika and Samaira in Tirumala shrine | XIndia captain Rohit Sharma along with wife Ritika and daughter Samaira visited the Tirupati Balaji temple in Tirumala, Tamil Nadu for blessings ahead of the crucial Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 tournaments.

Rohit Sharma will be leading India in both the tournaments with the Asia Cup 2023 beginning on August 30 with the Men in Blue taking on Pakistan on September 2nd and Nepal on September 4 in group stage matches in Sri Lanka.

The ODI World Cup, on the other hand, will be hosted in India and will begin from October 5 with the Indian team playing their first match of the league stage against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.

This will be the first time Rohit Sharma will lead India in an ODI World Cup. Previously he led the Men in Blue in the ICC T20 World Cup last year, where they were defeated in the semi-final by England in a one-sided contest.

Talking about the Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma had won the tournament as captain of the Indian team when it was previously played in 50-over format in 2018 in UAE.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Asia Cup and World Cup, Rohit Sharma was seen visiting the Tirupati temple along with wife Ritika and daughter Samaira to seek blessings.
