Former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir is known for his aggression on the field with the ball and he doesn’t like getting hit for sixes, like any other fast bowler. Currently, playing in the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2021), Amir showed the ugly side of a fast bowler.
In a match between Jaffna Kings and Galle Gladiators, in Hambantota, Sri Lankan batter Avishka Fernando smacked Amir for a six on the leg side on the very first ball of the innings, while chasing 189 to win.

Nuwan Thusara of Galle Gladiators was the pick of the match, taking 5/13 and keeping Jaffna to 124 in 16.5 overs, as Gladiators won the match by 64 runs.
