India captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma saluted the frontline warriors for risking their lives to save other citizens. They posted a tweet each and thanked the people who helped the needy people and supported each other in this tough time.
The second wave of COVID-19 has made the situation worse than before and the number of death is rising rapidly. India has recorded over 4 lakh cases for consecutive days lately.

"I have nothing but gratitude for all the healthcare and frontline workers, they put their lives at risk to save ours, for this we are in awe of their spirit and dedication," Kohli expressed his gratitude for the frontline workers in his post.
"I also want to thank all the people who came forward in such difficult times and helped each other in every possible way. India is grateful to have heroes like you. Jai Hind," he added.
Bollywood actress, Anushka applauded the dedication of the frontline workers and said their effort is inspiring. "We'd like to say a big thank you to all our healthcare and frontline workers, their dedication is truly inspiring. You continue to risk your lives for the nation, and for that, we are eternally grateful to you. You are the real heroes, for Virat and I, and for the nation," she tweeted.
The celebrity couple has also started a fund-raising campaign to fight COVID-19 in the country. They donated INR 2 crore and appealed to everyone to come forward and donate.
