Mother's day is celebrated on second Sunday of May every year The second Sunday of May every year marks the day when people all over the world honor mothers and their influence in society. Therefore May 9, 2021, is being celebrated as Mother’s Day in the world.

Mothers are the pillars of our lives and though their contribution to our success and life should be recognized every day, Mother’s Day is a day when everyone shows their gratitude and love towards their mothers. Modern Mother's day began in the United States, at the initiative of Anna Jarvis in the early 20th century.
