Australia great Shane Warne has made predictions for Day 2's play of the second Test between India and England on Sunday (February 14). He tweeted the scores of both teams before the start of the play.

Warne believed India could get 359 in the first innings, but they got bowled out for 329. The score was possible to achieve with Rishabh Pant (58*) in the middle, but unfortunately, he ran out of partners. Warne added that England will get all-out on 157 on the second day, with pitch helping spinners.

"My prediction for today’s play in the second test between England and India in Chennai !!! India all out 359 and batting again by no later than tea - after bowling England out for 157 !!! @nassercricket @isaguha @harbhajan_singh @MichaelVaughan @robkey612 @SkyCricket @FoxCricket", the tweet read.

Warne believed India could have easily got the predicted score with Pant smashing the bowlers. However, he looked eager to watch England bat against the Indian spinners. He reminded his followers of his prediction for England's final score in another tweet.

"The easy job is done for Eng. Now the fun begins. India lost it’s last 7 wickets for 81 runs. I was 30 runs over for India’s 1st innings (should have been closer to my 359 - if the tail hung in with Pant). How many runs Eng in their 1st innings? Remember my guess was 157 !!!!!", he tweeted.

India managed to take four wickets of England before lunch on day two. The visitors lost their fourth wicket on the last ball before the session and their score read 39/4.
