Indian white-ball vice-captain Rohit Sharma is in NCA in Bengaluru rehabbing from his hamstring injury which he suffered during the IPL 2020. Rohit, who captained Mumbai Indians (MI) to their fifth IPL title, missed four matches due to injury, before playing the remaining matches, including playoffs.
However, controversy surrounded his injury, as BCCI had deemed him unfit and excluded him from the Indian squad for Australia. The same day Rohit was seen batting in MI nets, fueling speculations as to why he was dropped. Rohit then played in the last league match and the playoffs including the final, beating Delhi Capitals to lift the trophy.

However, BCCI confirmed later that he was only 70% fit and was required to undergo an assessment at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, before flying to Australia for the Test series. His inclusion in Tests is important given Virat Kohli will be unavailable after the first Test, as he goes for paternity leave.
Meanwhile, Rohit, who will be assessed on December 11, where it will be deemed whether he is fit enough to fly to Australia.
Rohit who seemed to be enjoying his time there, posted a few snaps on his Instagram account and his wife Ritika seemed to find the photos cute, except one of them and commented on it as well.
