India captain Virat Kohli dropped the easiest of catches during the second T20I against Australia. It was his opposite number Matthew Wade's catch which Kohli couldn't keep a hold on despite being in a comfortable position.
The stand-in captain Wade, who smashed a 25-ball fifty, was batting on 58 when Washington Sundar's delivery took an outside edge and ballooned to cover in the 8th over. Kohli was relaxed and had the ball coming to his hands before he messed up.
India was fortunate that Wade was later run-out as he gave up thinking the ball would be easily caught. As soon as he realized the catch is dropped, it was too late for him to return to the crease. Kohli had a sigh of relief after Wade got dismissed despite an embarrassing catch drop.
