India great Sachin Tendulkar looked impressed with Ollie Pope's batting during the third Test between England and West Indies. He went on to compare his batting style with England's Ian Bell.

Tendulkar is following the three-match England vs West Indies Test series closely. He often took to Twitter to share his opinions on the matches and his latest tweet came for Pope as he made an unbeaten 91 on the first day at Old Trafford.

Taking to Twitter, Tendulkar wrote, "Been watching the 3rd Test, @OPope32 seems to have modeled his batting on @Ian_Bell. His stance and footwork looks exactly the same to me. #ENGvWI."

Bell, who represented England in 118 Tests and 161 ODIs, used to be very effective with the bat for his team. In 2015, he became the second player since Ian Botham to be involved in five Ashes series wins.

The 22-year-old Pope takes comparison with Bell as a huge compliment, but he never tried to copy his style. "When I went on the North v South series it was Andrew Strauss who said: ‘Who’s your favorite player growing up?’, and he expected me to say Belly (Ian Bell). I think he’s an amazing player and I used to love watching him bat but it’s not been anything that I’ve tried to emulate. It’s a big compliment because he is a pretty class player to watch," Pope had said in a conversation with The Guardian earlier this year.
