With no international or domestic cricket going on due to the COVID-19 pandemic, star cricketers are keeping themselves busy with social media activities.

Recently, India batsman Rohit Sharma had a long interaction with Australia opener David Warner on Instagram Live. They discussed all things related to cricket, life and how it feels like dealing with the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown.

During the chat, Rohit caught everyone’s attention when he opened up on his retirement plans. The 33-year-old Mumbaikar said he will be finishing his career before the age of 38-39.

“When we grow up in India it’s actually like that when we grow up we say cricket is life. There is so much beyond that you cricket finishes when you’re what 38-39. I don’t know when will you finish but I will certainly finish before that,” Rohit told Warner.

Rohit Sharma made his international debut in 2007. Since then he has come a long way, especially in white-ball cricket.

Sharma is the proud owner of the highest individual ODI score — 264 (against Sri Lanka in 2014). Moreover, he is the only batsman in the history of cricket to have scored three ODI double tons and four Twenty20 international centuries.

During his 13-year long cricket career thus far, Rohit has amassed 9115 runs in 224 ODIs at an average and strike-rate of 49.27 and 88.92 respectively. He has 29 ODI tons and 6 Test tons to his name and was also instrumental in India’s 2007 ICC World T20 and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy triumphs.
