Rohit Sharma named Brett Lee and Dale Steyn as toughest bowlers he has faced

India's opener Rohit Sharma is among the best white-ball batsmen in the world currently. He had to grind hard to reach where he is currently. His career took a leap after the year 2013 and Rohit hasn't turned back since then.

It took Rohit some time to be at his best in international cricket. He has dominated most of the bowlers in his career but there were a couple of bowlers who troubled him a lot.

Interacting with Mohammad Shami on Instagram, Rohit revealed Brett Lee and Dale Steyn bothered him a lot during the initial phase of his career.

The 33-year-old named South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada and Australia's Josh Hazelwood as best bowlers.

"When I came into the side, the fastest bowler in the world used to be Brett Lee. In my debut ODI series, I went to Ireland to face South Africa, and Dale Steyn was pretty quick then as well. When I started playing, I really liked Lee and Steyn, I had difficulties in facing them as well," Rohit told Shami.

"From the current lot, Rabada is a good bowler, I really like Josh Hazelwood as well, he bowls with great discipline," he added.
