Rohit Sharma was really good in the first Test against South Africa at Visakhapatnam where he played as an opener for the first time in the longest format. The right-hand batsman continued his fantastic form and scored a century in each innings of that Test.
Sharma was once again in the news after he took a cheeky dig at his Mumbai teammate Shardul Thakur while wishing him on his birthday. The India opener pointed out to the time when Thakur wore the No. 10 jersey which previously belonged to the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar.

“Many happy returns of the day buddy. Only the second player to wear the jersey. It takes guts to don that number but clearly you’re the best example of Impossible Is Nothing @imShard,” Rohit wrote on Twitter along with a photo of the right-arm pacer wearing the Indian jersey with No.10 on his back.

The 32-year-old Mumbai batsman was fantastic in the first Test but failed to deliver in the second Test where he scored just 14 runs off 35 balls in the only innings in which India batted. Thus, it will be exciting to see how the Hitman performs in the third Test beginning from 19 October at Ranchi.
