India's captain on the Sri Lanka tour, Shikhar Dhawan, was accompanied by his teammate Prithvi Shaw in a music session in Colombo. Dhawan has learned to play flute in the last few years and he played Kishore Kumar's classic song 'Yeh Sham Mastani'.

Shaw can be seen standing behind him and singing the song as Dhawan played the tunes of 'Yeh Sham Mastani' in the video posted on Instagram. "Thursday tunes featuring our in-house superstar singer Prithvi Shaw ???? @prithvishaw," wrote Dhawan while sharing the video.

Dhawan and Shaw are likely to open for India in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. They pair up to open for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.

India have also traveled with IPL stars Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devdutt Padikkal who open for their respective sides in the cash-rich league. But head coach Rahul Dravid has said they aim to win the series and it will be unrealistic to give every youngster an opportunity to play.

"When you are in a developmental level or working at the pathway level, the goals are different. We have a really different goal here. It's a short series so it won't be possible to give everyone an opportunity," Dravid had said in the pre-departure press conference.

The ODI series, which was supposed to begin from 13 July, is rescheduled to 18 July due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the home team’s camp.
