India is on a 11-match winning streak in T20Is, the second most in the format | BCCIIndian team registered a thumping win in the second T20I against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala to pocket the series 2-0. This was also India’s 11th consecutive victory in T20I cricket which is the longest streak they have managed.

Shreyas Iyer (74*) and Sanju Samson (39) came to the party with the bat in a chase of 187 runs, while Ravindra Jadeja (45* in 18 balls) ended things on a high as India won with 17 balls to spare despite losing both openers early.

Hence, here is the COC Predicted Team Playing XI for the third T20I against Sri Lanka.

With Ishan Kishan spending some time in hospital after being hit on the head by a Lahiru Kumara snorter, it might be expected that he will be rested for this dead rubber, with Sanju Samson keeping wickets and Mayank Agarwal opening the innings with Rohit Sharma.

There won’t be too many changes in the batting department expected, given how well Shreyas Iyer, Samson, and Jadeja batted, but management might push Venkatesh Iyer and Deepak Hooda up the order to give them some batting time in the middle.

Mayank Agarwal may get a look in as opener | BCCIChanges are expected in the bowling department with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel possibly being rested. While Kumar has been brilliant and even Harshal has been impressive, it is necessary to give the bench a chance to prove themselves as well.

This might mean Avesh Khan and Mohammed Siraj partnering with vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah in the pace bowling department. Yuzvendra Chahal has been back to his best in recent times, but he might be rested for this game to let young Ravi Bishnoi show more of his talent against the Sri Lankans.

A win here for the Indian team will tie them with Afghanistan and Romania for the record of the most consecutive T20I matches won.
