IND v SA 2022: Cricket fraternity reacts as Suryakumar Yadav's belligerent onslaught takes India to 237/3

Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav then went after the Proteas bowlers from ball one and in the fifth gear and didn’t let off the pressure. They added 102 runs for the third wicket in just 42 balls with Suryakumar making 61 in 22 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes and completed his 1000 runs in T20Is as well.

Dinesh Karthik gave the perfect finish to the innings as he hit 17* in 7 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes as India finished on 237/3 in 20 overs. This was India’s 4th highest T20I total.

Keshav Maharaj with 2/23 was the best bowler for South Africa, while Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell went for 57 and 54 runs respectively.
