Pat Cummins has become the most valuable part of the Australian team ever since his successful return to the team in 2017, after five years out of the game due to a bad back. Cummins actually became the most expensive foreign player sold in the IPL auction history in the IPL 2020 auction.

Cummins has taken over as the lead strike bowler in Tests and ODIs for Australia, while also performing well in the T20Is whenever given a chance. The fast bowler has an impressive record to speak off with 284 wickets in all three formats for the Kangaroos.

The right-arm pacer recovered amazingly well from a career-threatening back injury and has come stronger in his second international stint. He has been just phenomenal as evident from his exploits against India at home in what was Australia’s first Test series loss at home to Virat Kohli’s men.
