PETER SIDDLE (4/13)
Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle, who played for Montreal Tigers, was amongst the top five wicket-takers of the Global T20 Canada tournament with 11 wickets to his name. He picked those wickets with an economy of 9.35 runs per over and his best bowling figures were 4/13.
This came against Edmonton Royals in the 9th match of the tournament. Tigers had batted first and thanks to 50 from Moises Henriques put on 129/6 in 20 overs. Tigers needed to keep Royals under the target to win the match and that’s when Peter Siddle put his hand up and bowled the team to a victory.
Siddle picked the wickets of Agha Salman, Farhan Behardien, Shaiman Anwar and Hassan Khan to keep the Royals to 114 in 19.1 overs. Siddle was named Man of the Match for his match-winning spell of 4/13.
