SHERFANE RUTHERFORD (134*)
Vancouver Knights had batted first and thanks to fifties from Chris Gayle and Chadwick Walton and contributions from Babar Hyatt and Andre Russell put on a mammoth 215/6 in 20 overs against the West Indies B team in the first Qualifier of the tournament.
Chasing such a big total in such a match is huge pressure and to top that, the CWI B team lost three wickets for 11 runs by the 3rd over. Then a 19-year old lefty from Guyana, Sherfane Rutherford stamped his class on the match, adding 130 runs with Nicholas Pooran to keep his team in the chase and then remained unbeaten on 134* off 66 balls with 11 fours and 10 sixes to take his team to victory in 20 overs, as CWI B scored 221/4.
