India beat England by 151 runs to take 1-0 lead in the five match Test series.

Indian cricket team registered a memorable win over England in the second Test at Lord's. They defeated the hosts by 151 runs to take a 1-0 lead on a thriller Day 5 of the Test match.

India only had two sessions to take the 10 wickets of England, while Joe Root and co were going after a target of 272 runs. But the English batters couldn't survive against Indian fast bowlers and got bowled out on 120.

Mohammed Siraj picked up four wickets, Jasprit Bumrah bagged three wickets, and Ishant Sharma dismissed Haseeb Hameed and Jonny Bairstow. For England, only skipper Root could cross the 30-run mark and scored 33 runs.

The visitors sensed they have a chance to win the match but an unbeaten 89-run stand between Jasprit Bumrah (34*) and Mohammad Shami (56*) for the ninth wicket crushed their hopes, as India posted 298/8 before the declaration. At one stage, it looked like England wouldn't let India set a good target but the contribution from Indian tail came at the right time.

After the win, Indian players took to social media to express their emotions. Skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and the other Team India members posted tweets with pictures.
