ENG v IND 2021: Distraught Virat Kohli throws towel in dressing room after his dismissal in 2nd innings at Lord’s

Having conceded a first-innings lead of 27 runs, the visitors were tottering at 27/2 when Kohli arrived in the middle to bat in the second essay.

However, the Indian captain failed to last long and was removed by left-arm pacer Sam Curran on 20.

After his dismissal, the talks of Kohli’s century drought once again became the talk of the town. The Indian batting great hasn’t hit a ton in his last 49 innings and his last three-figure mark was against Bangladesh in a Test match in November 2019.

While the Indian fans were a bit disappointed by Kohli’s yet another low score, the man himself was left distraught after his dismissal.

In a video surfaced on social media, Virat Kohli can be seen throwing a towel in the dressing room while venting out his frustration for getting out after being set.

Virat Kohli's wicket put the tourists in a dangerous situation. Following his dismissal, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have taken the charge as India bat at 103/3, lead by 76 runs.
