Stuart Broad dismissed David Warner for the 17th time on Day 2 of Headingley Test.

Stuart Broad dismissed David Warner in both innings at Headingley | GettyVeteran opener David Warner endured another failure in the third Ashes Test against England at Headingley as he was dismissed by Stuart Broad for just 1 in Australia’s second innings on Friday (July 7).

Warner also fell for a single-digit score in Australia’s first essay, with Broad accounting for his dismissal on Day 1 of the Test match.

Broad has been Warner’s nemesis over the years and the England pacer got him out for the 17th time in Tests on the second day of Leeds Test.

As expected, Warner's struggles against Broad triggered a memefest on Twitter. This time around, Chris Broad, Stuart's father and an ICC match referee, also joined the bandwagon as he posted a meme on Warner.

Chris shared a picture from a scene of the American animated sitcom series ‘The Simpsons’, where the character ‘Bart’ could be seen writing on a chalkboard.

However, the meme featured Warner’s face as a character and the text on the chalkboard reads, “Stuart Broad has got me out again.”

Cricket fans on Twitter weren't happy with Chris Broad taking a jibe at Warner's struggles and slammed him for the post.

Here are the reactions:

Coming to the Headingley Test, Australia bundled out England for 237 to take a handy first-innings lead of 26 runs on Day 2. Skipper Ben Stokes waged a lone battle for the hosts, scoring 80 off 108 balls.

For Australia, captain Pat Cummins starred with the ball, picking up six wickets by conceding 91 runs in his 18 overs.

At stumps, the visitors were 116/4 in their second innings, stretching their lead to 142 runs with Travis Head (18*) and Mitchell Marsh (17*) unbeaten in the middle.
