Ahead of the bustling of the T20 World Cup 2022 and after a practice game against Western Australia in Perth, the Indian team contingent decided to take a day off and made a trip to the Rottnest Island.
One of the most attractive places for tourists, the island is just 19 kilometers off the coast of Perth and gives visitors picturesque scenery, and a rich cultural heritage to discover on a day trip. Rottnest Island is also considered a marine paradise.
The Island is also home to the world-famous Quokka. It is an Asian civet cat, but with brown hair, and is considered to be one of the friendliest animals on the planet.
BCCI shared some photos of the Team India’s trip to this beautiful island including one of Virat Kohli getting snapped with the Quokka and the video shared by the board on its official handle showed the short snippets of the trip with the team on the ferry and then exploring the island.
