Team India filled with new talent and hope led by experienced Shikhar Dhawan and coached by VVs Laxman defeated South Africa 2-1 in the three-match ODI series after they won the third and final match in Delhi by 7 wickets after bowling the Proteas out for 99 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav was the star of the game with four wickets to his name in 4.1 overs, while Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj, and Shahbaz Ahmed picked two each. Shubman Gill then made 49 and Shreyas Iyer contributed 28* as India won inside 20 overs.
Following the series victory, Team India players celebrated in the dressing room and captain Shikhar Dhawan shared a video on his official Instagram profile where the members of the side could be seen dancing to Daler Mehndi's song ‘Bolo Ta Ra Ra’.
Interestingly, stand-in India coach VVS Laxman shared the footage of the BTS moments where Shikhar Dhawan is seen choreographing the entire sequence and showing his teammates the steps they needed to do and asking them to do it at the same time.
