SA v IND 2023-24: WATCH – Indian players sharpen their fielding skills ahead of the opening Test in Centurion

It seems that Rohit Sharma and his men want to leave no stone unturned in their preparation for the red-ball series.

On the eve of the opening Test, BCCI shared a video on social media, in which the Indian players were spotted sharpening their fielding skills.

The likes of Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, R Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah featured in the video.

India head coach Rahul Dravid and fielding coach T Dilip were seen helping the players prepare for catching in different field positions.

India are yet to win a Test series on South African soil despite touring the country since 1992. The best result for the visiting Indian team in the Rainbow Nation so far is 1-1 draw during the 2010-11 tour.

The Rohit Sharma-led side will be determined to end the losing streak in the upcoming Test series.
