With enough help for pacers in Ahmedabad, he could once again come to the party in this match, especially with Lucknow openers being vulnerable to seam bowling.
Marcus Stoinis (Lucknow): Marcus Stoinis walked to bat at number 5 in the last game but couldn’t do much. However, with the form he has been in this season, one just can’t rule him out. He has been striking the ball really well and on top of it, bowling some important overs as well. A player like him gives points in both departments and remains a dependable pick.
Dwayne Smith (OG — Batter 2) (Gujarat): Shubman Gill will most likely be Batter 2 for Gujarat. He has been their best batter this season and has scored runs in almost every game. Although he failed in the last game, he could be banked on to return with better numbers in this match.
