WATCH: Pakistan media coordinator intervenes after Shaun Tait’s “they send me when we lose badly” comment

After the game, Pakistan bowling coach Shaun Tait came to attend a press conference and stunned everyone with his statement.

“When we lose badly… they send me when we get beaten badly,” Tait quipped.

The bowling coach’s comment was awkward and Pakistan’s media coordinator was quick to step in. He switched off the mic and asked Tait if he was fine.

While it seemed that Shaun Tait understood his mistake and get on with the press conference but his reaction went viral on social media.

Coming to the match, Pakistan posted 169/6 on the board after being asked to bat first. Skipper Babar Azam was the top scorer for the hosts with 87 not out off 59 balls.

In reply, England rode on Philip Salt’s whirlwind 88 not out off 41 balls to get over the line with 33 deliveries to spare.

With the victory, the visitors levelled the series 3-3. The series-deciding seventh T20I will be played in Lahore on Sunday (October 2).
