Ravi Shastri, the former India head coach, took to social media to share a photo of himself eating biryani gifted to him by Indian pacer Mohammed Shami. After his contract with Team Indian expired, Shastri joined the commentary team for IPL 2022.

During the tournament, players all over the tournament celebrated Eid and  Shastri had wished both the speedsters Eid Mubarak on the day when Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans (GT) faced Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the ongoing IPL 2022. Shastri also funnily Siraj that he could have two plates of Biryani but Shami needed to hold off the deliciousness as it was match day.

"Eid Mubarak to my Double Trouble! @MdShami11, aaj game hai ! Biryani baad. Aar ya paar. @mdsirajofficial tu do baar kha leh," Shastri had earlier tweeted wishing the two pacers on the occasion of Eid.

Apparently, Mohammad Shami sent over delicious biryani to Ravi Shastri and the former coach thanked him on Twitter and in the same post, reminded Mohammed Siraj that his biryani for Eid was pending. 

"Shaaami, loving it ???? Thanks for the Biryani @MdShami11. @mdsirajofficial, yours is pending," Shastri tweeted.

At the IPL 2022 mega auction, Siraj was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Shami was purchased by Gujarat for Rs 6.25 crore.
