The ongoing protests in New Delhi against the new farm bills have garnered sharp reactions from not only the country but internationally as well. Celebs like Greta Thunberg and Rihanna tweeted in solidarity with the protestors.
However, multiple cricketers have come forward and supported the government and called for an amicable solution to the ongoing problems faced by both parties. They also criticized the foreign interruption and interference in India’s internal matter and called for the citizens of India to stand together in unity.

Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, RP Singh, and other cricketers showed solidarity with the government and called for peaceful negotiations between the concerned protestors and officials.
Now India white-ball vice-captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya also came forth and tweeted about the same using the hashtag “IndiaTogether”
Rohit tweeted, “India has always been stronger when we all stand together and finding a solution is the need of the hour. Our farmers play an important role in our nation’s well being and I am sure everyone will play their roles to find a solution TOGETHER. #IndiaTogether”

Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh also joined and talked about farmers being the livelihood of the nation and called for a solution sooner than later.
He posted, “As proud citizens of our beloved India, let’s stand united in this hour of crisis. There is no problem that cannot be resolved. Our farmer community is the lifeblood of this nation and I am confident that a peaceful resolution will be reached soon #IndiaTogether”
