India’s star opening batsman Rohit Sharma has recently admitted that the forthcoming Day-Night Tests with the pink ball will be a challenging one form him in Australia later this year.

Virat Kohli led the Indian cricket team is scheduled to play four-match Test series in Australia in December-January. The Border-Gavaskar will get underway with the first Test on December 3 at The Gabba followed by the second Test being a day-night fixture in Adelaide from December 11.

The third and fourth Tests between India and Australia will begin on December 26 and January 3 respectively at MCG and SCG.

Recently, Rohit was having a question and answer session on Instagram where he was asked about his preparations for the Pink ball Test amid sporting shut down due to the global Coronavirus outbreak.

On being asked by a fan "how prepared are you to play a pink ball test match in Australia because you haven't opened. Ur mindset?" to which Rohit replied, “will be challenging for sure.”

Meanwhile, Rohit, who has so far played 32 Tests for India and scored 2141 runs with the help of 6 hundreds and 10 half-centuries, also said he enjoys seeing Australia's Steve Smith and England's Jason Roy bat during the interaction.

Noteworthy, the forthcoming Day/Night Test in Adelaide will be India’s first overseas pink ball game having played the only game at Eden Gardens last year against Bangladesh. It would be a challenging task for India as Australia have never lost a day-night Tests, winning all seven they have played so far.
