New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is at the third spot followed by India’s Cheteshwar Pujara and Australia's Marnus Labuschagne. Labuschagne, who scored 143 in the first Test against New Zealand at Perth, had gained three slots to occupy fifth place in the updated rankings.

Carrying his brilliance from the Australia tour, Pakistan’s Babar Azam scored a hundred in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Karachi and jumped up three slots to attain his career-best ranking of 6.

India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is placed at the seventh position while David Warner (8th), Joe Root (9th) and Ross Taylor (10th) complete the top 10 list

The other two Indian batsmen featuring in the top 20 are Mayank Agarwal (12) and Rohit Sharma (15).

As far as the bowling list is concerned – Australia pacer Pat Cummins continues to head the list followed by South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and New Zealand’s Neil Wagner.

Jasprit Bumrah, who has been out since September due to a stress fracture, retained his sixth spot and he is the only Indian to feature in the top 10 bowling rankings.

Among the all-rounders, West Indies skipper Jason Holder is leading the list while India’s Ravindra Jadeja is at the second spot.
